Tiempo Imaginario (Imaginary Time) is a collaboration
of Pamen Pereira with antiquarians
Artur Ramon Art in the presentation of their new
space in Barcelona.
This exhibition reinterprets the world of antiques
with a contemporary vision and transports
us to the atmosphere and the taste of humanity
characteristic of the Baroque. Many of the displays
in the exhibition could be considered contemporary
vanitas, still lifes or memento mori works
that emphasise the fragility of existence and the
realisation of the truly insubstantial nature of all
things, recurrent motifs in Pamen Pereira’s work
that were superbly addressed in the Baroque
